Worst Performing Primary Schools to Become Academies

200 of the worst performing primary schools are to be transformed into academies throughout England.

New proposals are claiming to better the standard of education in certain schools and will take action some time next year.

Educational Sectary Michael Gove confirmed that schools failing to meet targets in English and Mathematics will be forced to shut down. Mr Grove claimed that it is intended to be “a helping hand upwards” to those schools that need it.
