Write for the Fresh Outlook.
(placements, work experience or freelance submissions).
We are inundated with applications for a limited number of office based positions. We also know how difficult it is to get work experience. So we have created a number of options to help you.
Background to applying / the newspaper. CLICK HERE
We are growing a newspaper that is premised on constructive coverage of issues and people. The Fresh Outlook has no political, religious or financial ties making it independent. This online newspaper is being grown to be the national breaking ground for new journalists. Therefore we have created various opportunities to help as many people as we can, and help you.
You can choose from one of the following options:
Freelance writer - submit articles at any time - no application process. CLICK HERE.
Freelance writer. This means submitting articles at any time, as frequently or infrequently as you wish, with no fixed duration of working with us. Freelance writers have access to the editorial team.
Office based placement (Cardiff only) - C.V. application needed. CLICK HERE.
Office placement. This means being based in our Cardiff office for an agreed duration - usually between 2-4 weeks working a minimum of 3 days per week.
Remote placement (working from your own base) - C.V. application needed. CLICK HERE.
Remote placement. This means working from your own base for an agreed duration - usually between 2-4 weeks working a minimum of 3 days per week. This is so we can offer work placements to more people. Remote placements also have access to the editorial team.
Whichever opportunity you take up, you have access to our editorial team, and your article (if published) will bear your name. If you are unsuccessful with a placement, you can still be a freelance writer.
