It is not often that a mainstream, national newspaper would concentrate an entire section to an unbiased, fair representation of all women. At The Fresh Outlook newspaper, we aim to do just that with our Women’s section. Our independence of political, financial or religious stakes in our non profit organisation is why we can do this.
The FreshOutlook provides an ever growing, credible mainstream media platform for women to be heard and challenge.
INFORMED WOMEN.
From work, family and health through to lifestyle, politics and relationships, the overall aim of the content is to help women make informed choices and decisions. The newspaper’s independence means that we are able to:
- Present issues in a clear and accessible way.
- Offer diversity of opinion, not bias.
WOMEN TO INSPIRE AND ENCOURAGE (AND REVERSE INEQUALITIES).
Reversing inequalities needs more than a campaign. It needs daily content that challenges and reverses negative stereotypes to enable women to exercise their individual potential, we do this by:
- Valuing the achievements of women from all walks of life, all over the world.
- Recognising the impact of women in society / community involvement / business.
- Publishing constructive real life stories and views.
- Countering the overall media’s negative portrayal of female body image.
INFLUENCE AND CHANGE.
Our newspaper helps:
- Women’s groups / activists get coverage.
- Individual women to express a diversity of opinions.
- Challenge / exert pressure on injustice by individuals / organizations.
- Cover human rights issues from all over the world.
- Make political issues and news accessible to all age groups.
In doing all this we aim to help women feel confident in their own identity and in the choices that they make.
