New £125 Tablespoon-Sized Facial Serum

Sold at Boots, the Bioeffect EGF serum costs £125, with the main active ingredient costing more per ounce than diamonds.

Costing £125 for 15ml, the new serum, which claims to reverse the signs of ageing, eliminate dry spots, improve complexion and is approved by Uma Thurman, boasts a concentrated level of EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) that is greater than other products on the market.

Made of nine ingredients, Bioeffect claims to improve the form and wellbeing of skin by persuading it to renovate its own cells through EGF; a material which has the capability of speeding up the percentage of cell turnover, amking skin look more youthful.

Stanley Cohen and Rita Levi-Montalcini were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1986, due to their research into the EGF cellular activator in cell biology.

Bioeffect was created by Sif Cosmetics, who are founded on the principals of biotechnological studies and progress as well as marketing impressive quality skincare products with a scientific basis.

Dr Björn Örvar, founder and CEO of Sif Cosmetics states: “Sif Cosmetics is the world’s first and only company to provide the cosmetic industry with a selection of human-like growth factors produced in plants … bypassing the use of traditional bacterial or animal cell production systems.”

Using just two drops a day is said to be enough to rejuvenate the skin as the serum, the main active ingredient of which is more expensive than an ounce of diamonds, operates an exceptional genetic technology in which the cellular activators are created from barley seeds.

With specific efficiency tests executed before use and sales, consumers have noted detectable progress within weeks.

During pre-marketing tests, 98% of those surveyed agreed that their skin had a fresher look, and that they would suggest Bioeffect to friends.

Six months after the product was first launched in Iceland, 20% of women aged over 30 are using the serum. In the UK, 2,000 units were sold to consumers in a single day, of which 60% bought the serum a second time.
